Right of Withdrawal

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal.

Instructions on withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, take or takes possession of the goods.

If you have ordered several goods as part of a single order which are delivered separately, the withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, take or takes possession of the last of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear declaration (e.g. by letter or e-mail). You may use the model withdrawal form below for this purpose, but its use is not mandatory.

If you use this online function, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without undue delay, including information on the content of the withdrawal declaration and the date and time of its receipt.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of the additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract.

For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must send back the goods to us, or hand them over by prior arrangement, without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Returning delicate works

Many works at VYRD are single pieces, framed objects or delicate originals. Frames, surfaces, aged materials and mountings can be damaged in transit more easily than ordinary merchandise.

Please handle returns with corresponding care: in the original packaging where possible, otherwise in packaging of equivalent strength and transport safety. For high-value, framed or delicate works, we expressly recommend trackable and adequately insured shipping. For larger or particularly delicate works, we are happy to agree the safest shipping method or a collection with you before the return is made.

This section is a voluntary service notice and does not restrict your statutory right of withdrawal.
